Pots in Tech21 Character series
Does anyone know where can I find pots like the ones in the Tech21 Character series (i.e. long pin and NO tab that needs snapping off)? The pots I'm looking for are clearly shown in the first figure of this post viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6571&hilit=tech21+character#p68455.
Also, does any one know of who makes pots without tabs?
Thanks a lot.

The tabs are used to keep the pot from rotating when turning the shaft.
They require a nice precise hole that most hobbiest ignore, so they just
break the tab. I would think the long pin pc mount would be the important
feature and the tab insignificant. But........
The pots on the above link may have tabs and may not be suitable, but it's a source.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am aware that Small Bear carries long pin ALPHA pots. Mouser and Mamouth carry them too, albeit smaller selection of values.
Breaking tabs off is an inconvenience that I would like to avoid, if I can. The reason being is that few times I realized that I have forgotten to break off the tab after I've soldered the pot to the pcb.

Do yourself a favour and use the tabs. That means drill a hole and increase reliability of your build.
