Hi all, first post from me but I've been regularly lurking since picking up a soldering iron about 9 months ago - thanks for all your help! :)

I'm sure I'm not alone in having more populated boards than I can afford boxes for, so I thought I'd share my find - circular tins of sweets 79p at Aldi, about 4" diameter and 1.5" deep. You're not going to get a Klon in there or anything, but most small projects will be fine - I've managed a tubescreamer and a fuzz factory, and it's deep enough to mount the board above the pots.

Aldi change their stock quite frequently - these were there yesterday, but you might want to rush if you want to grab some before they go.

Some pics below (hopefully - first time using the forum!) There was plenty of room for an LED but I'm all out of 3PDTs...

Anyone got any other suggestions for cheap enclosures? I don't mind paying out for a box if I'm going to gig a pedal, but it's nice to be able to box up the 'just for fun' ones too!

I love Aldi! I'm hooked on their sweet potatoe fries.

Didn't know this surplus stock buying German supermarket chain was in the UK, let alone in NJ!
Still, these candy tins won't last long if you are going to stomp it.
I built a fuzz face in a Ikea soup bowl: Souper Fuzz - then I intuitively learned about the difference between steel and aluminium [sic]...

How's this, you could make a Whisker Biscuit, and put it into a Biscuit tin....
