Typical trannies for pedals?

I'm looking to eBay some transistor bundles where I can select from 20 different varieties to make the 100. What are done of the more commonly used trannies to know what I should grab in bulk?
Maybe a bit too late, but thetre are a few common (NPN; Si) transistors (btw you can use _any_ transistor in the right place):
LOW GAIN (<100):

MEDIUM GAIN (100-300):
