here it is little circuit for nice led dimming.......it can be used in wahs,and other light controlled
effects.........it is PWM and simple

A bipolar 555 can sink/source over 200mA from pin 3. Pin 7 is also an open collector for its internal transistor. I can' recall off the top of my head how much current it can sink, but it's gotta be at least 20mA, which is as much as you'd ever want to pull through an LED.
...What I'm saying is, you don't need the external transistor LED driver.
Also, the layout doesn't match either schematic and won't work.
The 1k resistor either needs to come from the output (not V+) or else the node between the 1k and diodes needs to connect to pin 7.

Thank you for correcting me.....I have forget to make trace from pin 7 to diodes......so here it is........it is build to match secound schematic, and it works.......if somebody do not need transistor,just leave empty space.....if you want to use it to drive small motor for subminiature lessley or LED array.... leave it as it is....
