What you done? Which old classic was it this time? My number one is not plugging the jack into the guitar :block:

This time it wasn't my fault. I got a bad batch of 5v regulators. Through another project I was working on, I figured out that the regulators were just not working as they are supposed to (the whole bleedin lot of 50 that I bought), and then I realized I'd put one in this pedal. The original regulator was destroyed during degooping, and I replaced it with one of these shitty ones. So I put a proper one in last night and it fired up. But unfortunately, the shitty regulator had output 7v to the 2399, and now it sounds like shit (but at least I can tell it works). So now I have to replace the 2399, which of course wasn't socketed. :blackeye

Those regulators are buggers, I check before I put them in after I fried a 2399 the same way (several in fact!)! Good to know it's up and running again 8)
