Hey Guys,

I was thinking about doing a Big Muff clone with one of Pigeon FX's Triangle Big Muff boards. I would like to get the BM vibe by using a similar enclosure. The BB boxes get old after a while. Does anyone know where to get enclosures like that, or has anyone here maybe rehoused their BM and doesn't need the old enclosure anymore? Could be an NYC, Russian, even Behringer VD-1 enclosure.

cheers and thanks in advance

Go and ask Brook (the PigeonMan) about it. I know he have a plan to do the run of those, as he did with Sola MK1 enclosures

Its all true! :secret:

Looking into getting a run of the Rams Head to V9 size boxes made up.

Still in the processes of picking materials at the moment, but measurements are with the fabricators ready to go.

Should have more info next months........in the mean time here is a photos of the MK1 enclosures I had made from steel with powder-coated hammer finnish (another batch should be in next week)

Cool enclosure. Make sure to make some noise around here when you're ready to sell.

Trouble is the size of the triangle enclosure is just very slightly different to the Rams Head right though to the V9.......so it was a decision to have enclosure for 1 model of muff, or 5 stock models.

That said there will probably be a drilled and non-drilled lid choice, so would not be hard to drill out one with the Triangle for you

Should have a ruff unit price by the weekend, just working on the last draft of the technical drawing for the fabricators right this second (well not this second, as Im having a cup of tea and typing this message....).

Then once the final drawing are in I can finalize steel thickness and laminate options (that Black coating on the bottom section of enclosure).

So any suggestions, now is the time to get them in!

regards the Zonk, just waiting on a new batch of MK1's that will be hear Vsoon then I will probably get half a dozen Zonk enclosures done at the same time as the Big Muffs.....its really expensive getting these fabricated due to order sizes, but works out cheap on larger orders so trying the tiny Zonk order with a big BMP order should help keep the unit price of the Zonk down.

nothing except the triangle drilling that we discussed earlier, if possible. I'd love board-mounted pots :thumbsup

That no problem, have a Drill press in my workshop so will drill you what ever you want sir! (sure you wont be the only person wanting the triangle configuration)
