The non drill non painted ones are £25 less shipping, and the gold and black powder coated ones drilled to MK1 spec are £35 less shipping......but down to my last couple of each.
Wow-they make my jaw drop, all you need to put something in those enclosures are some vintage pointer-knobs, a few good Ge transistors, some .15 inch vero, and some vintage caps and resistors, oh and a couple of 1/4 inch sockets, footswitch, and a battery clip, and you've got a good fuzz pedal that looks the business....

You know, just for once, it'd be fun for me to try a full-on mojo build, I've got three spare RCA Ge transistors, which I bought from Caps 'N Such, They've got pretty decent gains, so I might even look into getting one of those enclosures, I'm not too fussed about the colour....
Those boards in the pic, are they similar to the boards used in Tonebenders?....

peps1 wrote:Yep, they are bang on to the MK1 that is wired point to point, and components are all in range to the original too (witched out a couple of the Hunts caps for philips for reliability).
Trouble is I can find the parts, and build the kits fast enough!
Sounds like they're in big demand, you should have seen the resistors I pulled out of an old Tube radio that my dad bought at an auction for me, they had the three colour bands plus a silver tolerance band, but the body was a cream-coloured cylindrical shape with flat ends, and a lead coming out of them on each end, soooo wished I'd kept them....
I bought an old Tube radio transmitter from the local dump shop a few years ago, had some really nice ceramic turret-boards in it, scored three 9-pin tube sockets from it, as well as an EF86 tube, two 12AX7 tubes, and a 6V6 tube....
I might use the EF86 tube to make a tube mic, like a Neumann U47, or something....
I'll have to get back into buying old electronic stuff again one day.....
