1/2 watt Amplifier?

Hello! I'm building a project (not so much an electrical project) where I need a really small amplifier, like 1/2 watt at 8 ohms. I'm not interested in the tone that it will be outputting, just that it will cover the full frequency range of the guitar. I hate to just make a request like this, but I'm not finding much in the way of Google or the search bar here. I'm still ignorant as to what exactly is going on inside this magic boxes we call amps
