Tube overdrive kit... in tag board??

Seems a nice aproach in the market to me.
Anyone try it?

For a tube based pedal running on only 9V, it sounds surprisingly good, I expected it to sound really gated, wouldn't mind buying one of those kits.... :D

Mmmmmmm.....

At first sight, judging for the components included in this kit, I guess that is merely a valvecaster but with the addition of a preceeding stage with a fet booster.

Count the parts in that picture:

Also, several users reports that achieve best sound after replace the tube with a 12AU7 (ECC82 in Europe), same as the valvecaster.

The funniest thing of this kit is that they provide the battery clip... :shock:

The heater inside this little fella, that normally use 12,6 V and 150 mA, take 127 mA @ 9 Vdc, so a fresh 9 volt battery must drop dead in the middle of a rehearsal... :lol:
