A few BYOC kits and DS-1 mods and eventual murder then rebirth into an actually useful pedal, Bad Stone clone, various Rangemasters/SilconMasterBlaster, The worlds greatest gutted GCB-95 volume pedal conversion with various switching options for controlling amps. Repaired many tube amps, scratchbuilt Marshall 18 watt clone and Supro 1616t rebuild. Delays, fuzz, dirt, every Madbean project I could afford. I got a bunch of Tung Sol 1N64's a few weeks ago from my good old Dad, still in the original packaging. Anybody know of a project that uses them? I know the were in alot of early tube TV sets as part of the video circuit... Thanks!

You could use one in a 3-Knob Sola-Sound Tonebender clone, what about a Fender Blender?, I've read a project Article about the Fender Blender on the Fuzz Central website, it said that the Fender Blender had a very loud spongy-rubbery sound said to be because of the Germanium signal diodes used in it, check out the Fuzz Central website....
