Merry Christmas...

There was at least 1 cap on the solder side of the board, but I couldn't get a better peak, as this wasn't my pedal to take apart. Anybody got a Boosta Grande handy for comparison? I found a gut shot online from an older BBE pedal and their info was in the top left corner of the PCB, where....what a coincidence...there is nail polish in that area on the Betty Boost.

Acetone should remove the nail polish and not damage components I reckon?

CAREFUL! It might dissolve the capacitors' external plastic case, and also the wires' insulation. I don't know if if could damage the IC package... Better off trying with some extra electros, greenies, wires and ICs first!

If it's just a marker, you might try some alcohol.

yeah you best not drown the pedal in that shit, but applying it with a q-tip should be fine.

Yeah I just meant a atop on the branding on the top left of the board. But understand it's a risk. I just wanna have real solid evidence on this freakish blues idiot

What? Not really. Much closer is the Freq Boost. Based on this shot, I'd say the Betty Boost is very probably a Boosta Grande.

Why is he going to all the trouble to wire up the footswitch in this pedal when he's got all those footswitch pcbs (as seen in all gutshots of the Alpha Drive)?

An even easier solution to the permanent marker would a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Those will take black sharpie marks off anything without any damage.

Somebody should contact BBE. I'm sure they'd be willing to verify it!

I'd say that cap toward the top right "c104" is simply moved to the pot if I had to guess.

By the way, I've said this before, but BBE has PERFECTED the art of "shittiest possible one-time-use hookup wire." I kid you not, you merely touch that stuff and it disintegrates.
