It does'nt seem a problem for Boot-Leg designers. Why?
That's not a real concern for audio design, but gets more relevant for higher frequencies.
So more than anything it just looks better, also in a guitar pedal :wink:.
A (professional) guy where I get pcbs made every once in a while would simply refuse to
produce it, purely for the aesthetic aspect...

One other point is if you etch yourself, that the right angled corners are more likely to be
overetched, because the etchant somewhat accumulates in more narrow corners.
