I'm assuming from the lack of other comments or the absence of this topology from the boutiquers over the last decade-and-a-half that this doesn't actually sound that good? I'm intrigued though by the adjustable symetry of the clippers so I may have a go with it to see what happens.

I made a PCB layout based on the original. The designators and values of the components correspond to those in the schematic.

Not being picky but R3 4.7k. Think i am going to try this, i have some lf356. 741 might work too?
