ssm2120 vca alternative?????

Does anyone know a vca that will do the same job as the analog devices ssm2120 i have lots of circuits for it or does it require two chips instead such as a rms detector and a vca. Iam also looking for a alternative on the ssm2018 thanks

yeah i have seen that allready but as far as i understand you need to of there chips one a rms level detector then a vca not much good if you allready have a pcb design for a few different circuits. I can't believe they now want like $30 dollars on ebay for this chip. Thats just robbery
