Instead of switching output capacitors as in old version - in new, super bee switch changes resistance of output pot from 470K (super bee mode) to ~42K (1966 mode) - really fun mod! Another change due to old layout - now bias trimpot is on Q1 collector.
Instead mounting two output parallel capacitors (C3 - Iskra's 4700pF and C6 - Xicon 2200pF) - You can remove C6 and change C3 to higher value to (6800pf will be the closest value, but 8200pf/10nf/15nf sounds cool, too).
I know there are standoffs and all, but man, I would've definitely put some insulation on the leads of that cap on the bottom of the board.

I´ve build it yesterday, and its a nice sounding fuzz! I used Ac122´s (as always, I bought 100 pieces once).
It´s supposed to have not much sustain right? Italian Tone Bender --> Spaghetti Western --> little sustain right?

How short is sustain? It shouldn;t have sustain similar to let say Buzzaround or MKII, but it shouldn't be very short though...

From where did you get the rotary switch? I can´t find a rotary with only two positions...
What hfe values did you use for the trannies, and how close does it get to the "real thing"?
It dont need to be two position rotary switch, it could be with three or four positions - You can always limit amount of positions on rotary switches. Good idea is to use 3 pos. switch, two for mode changes and third for switch off battery.

In red are marked slots that You can use to limit number of positions from 2 up to 11, it's really quite easy to do
I built the new vero yesterday, and i really like it. It´s a little too dark sounding with my Gretsch?! Should I experiment with the 6,8nf to get a bit more treble?
