- my favorite amplifier: Low wattage SE amps
- Completed builds: Many many many true bypass and voicing mods on wahs.
A few BYOC kits and DS-1 mods and eventual murder then rebirth into an actually useful pedal, Bad Stone clone, various Rangemasters/SilconMasterBlaster, The worlds greatest gutted GCB-95 volume pedal conversion with various switching options for controlling amps. Repaired many tube amps, scratchbuilt Marshall 18 watt clone and Supro 1616t rebuild. Delays, fuzz, dirt, every Madbean project I could afford. I even manage to find time to make babies with my wife too! - Location: Fresno, Ca

I have an ad up for these same transistors over at Madbean's forum. Would like to offer these up to anyone here that is interested as well. I got a Lowrey organ that has literally hundreds of these in it. These are printed with Lowrey's house number 8393, but are actually 2N2924 or 2N2925's, same as the 5117's found in Thomas organ wahs. Replacement parts charts give conflicting accounts as to which they are, but from what I have tested gains are in the average range of 175Hfe-225Hfe which is consistent with the mid-high range of 2N2924's and mid-low range of 2N2925's. Really nice in a Coloursound 1 Knob Fuzz clone besides the obvious application in wahs. $7 for 4 transistors with shipping included in the US, PM me if you are outside of the US and I can get a USPS quote for shipping. Not looking to get rich on these, just trying to spread them around to the forum members. Thanks!
