Hey guys,

after seeing a couple of builds with ribbon cable for the pots, and sometimes the switch as well, i was thinking they look pretty neat. Any of you know a good (read: cheap) supplier that has them in a decent thickness (like regular stompbox wire) in lower quantities?

btw: that's how they look, can be multicolored, though i prefer unicolor. I would like at least 3-connector-ones or multiples of that (6,9,12 ...). If you only find in between numbers, please do post anyway.

cheers

www.bitsbox.co.uk does a 10-strand rainbow ribbon cable, it's a flat £1.50 delivery for any order, but is a little thinner than is absolutely ideal for wiring pots.

Standard electronics stuff like that can be found cheap at Reichelt in all kinds of variations. It's the go-to supplier in Germany for most DIY folks for a good reason. For example this one. I wouldn't worry about the thickness too much, these cables are inherently stable due to the parallel fixation.
