together with the regular guts this should be an easy one. Anyone take a shot? I'm not really interested in tracing a JFet Boost.

I'm triyng to trace it right now, but can't figure out the circuit. If anybody is willing to help, here's the trace + component side. Will post a preliminary schematic later

hmmm

it's two identical jfet boosts that the cascades via a switch.

could be this?

edit: close but it's similar. Will update the values of the resistors soon.

here they are. too bad i couldn't read the tant caps, not even from the side shot. The power supply cap looks pretty big, maybe a 47uF?

Not sure about the transistor, a J201 would work though.
