Building a 5 knob fuzz factory type clone question.

Ok, you got your soldering iron and nothing is going to hold you back, but you have no clue where to start or what to build. There were others before you with the same questions... read them first.

Hi there,

I just received my PCB for building this fuzz pedal:
http://www.musikding.de/product_info.ph ... z-kit.html

and I have sourced all the parts listed here:
http://diy.musikding.de/images/stories/ ... ybomen.pdf

but folli9wng this wiring layout diagram:
http://diy.musikding.de/images/stories/ ... rywire.pdf

I can't work out what the blue 3x3 grid thing is and what it's doing? I know it's got soldered contacts on it like some kind of circuit board but what is it's purpose and how would I make one/what am I buying?

I have all the other components to begin making it but just unsure what that part is and what I'm doing with it!

Thanks

That's the footswitch - It's a 3PDT (three Pole, double Throw) which is standard for true bypass with an LED to indicate on/off.
