Bass distortion from an old brazilian magazine?

Searching through the net I found quite a strange circuit
here.
And here's the layout:

What do you guys think? It's almost as simple as the Bazz Fuss, so it seems to be a nice and quick build. Unfortunately I don't have a breadboard to try it out. Maybe some of you did already build it?

Looks stupid to me : why would you want to put a DC voltage to your gear ?

nice.
what he means is, put some caps on the input and output of that. i dont have a breadboard either though.

With the voltages noted (+3 , -1,5 ) both input and output should be near 0v, but of course adding a couple caps would be a better practice. But hey! No caps = you don't have to choose a dielectric nor start a FSB fight thread!
