T-Pedals - Nuke booster

My first contribution, i hope you like it :D
I have traced this one from a custom fuzz/boost (still figuring out the fuzz part, it seems a bit odd), but i am pretty confident that the boost circuit is the the same one he uses in the nuke booster. As you can see, it's a SHO ripoff. I couldn't get the values of the input and output capacitors (my bud didn't allowed me to dissect it, and i don't blame him since he paid 250 euros for this shit) but the input capacitor is a small ceramic disc, probably a low value one since it's a treble booster. This cap is probably subbed for a bigger one in the original nuke booster, since this last one is marketed as a "transparent booster". The output capacitor is a big box type cap, so i think this is a more standard value like 1uF or so. Enjoy:

no resistor from base to ground as in the SHO?

Just rechecked my drawings: the schematics above is correct, no resistor to ground on the gate. :slap:

That's what I was thinking. :hmmm:

So is any MOSFET booster now considered an SHO rip off?

This one doesn't even crackle. :slap:

This one has the same 10M resistor (and not a more common value like 1M), the same zener as a protection diode, the same collector resistor and probably the same output cap value (not really sure about the input). That's a typical clone + bredboard work, if you ask me.

or typical parts in any common source mosfet gain stage.

all right, maybe i was a little bit to drastic about this one, but hey, i'm here to learn.

you'll get the hang of it.
