Discussion Thread

Here is what I am shooting for:

Mammoth will be our Vendor - Preliminary numbers look like this-

---------------------------------------------------

Standard Alpha Pots are $1.09 individually--

If we move more than 500 (EASILY), a 30% price break gets us to $0.76/pot.

Please remember, you can mix and match pot values, but ONLY in multiples of 5.

I.E. - I can get 5 A100Ks, but not 4 or 6. And not 1 or 2, Or 3, either. Multiples of 5. Any value they carry

---------------------------------------------------

Standard 3PDTs are $3.50 individually--

If we move more than 500 (also should be easy), a 30% price break gets us to $2.45/ea.

I would prefer multiple of 5 on these, but I won't be strict.

---------------------------------------------------

I would prefer to stick with open jacks, and Mammoth has two tiers of those. Open jacks are cheaper, and they pack better. But, I know some of you are quite picky about the jacks you use.

THIS is a link to the jack selection. For now, tell me how many jacks you are interested in, and we will get VERY specific about what we are ordering when we see what kind of interest there is.

CONUS shipping will be approximately 5-6 dollars for small quantities, and amounts too large to fit in a USPS Small Flat Rate Box will be charged accordingly. International will be case by case, but still better than you can do alone.

The more people that participate, and the more product we move, the less shipping will be for each member of the group.

My goal is to move 1,000 3PDTs and 2,000 pots.

I am just a little nipper 'round these parts, but I have been involved in several Group Buys at BYOC. Last year, me and one other guy who posts here moved 1,700 pots and over 500 3PDTs.

^^^ That is what 1,700+ pots and 500+ 3PDTs look like.

I live in the United States, but I have shipped all over the world.

All of the details are in the two threads linked above. One small point: I am tacking on a $2.00 shipping and handling fee to each order. I disclosed this from the beginning. Other than that, all participants pay the prorate portion of shipping to me, actual cost of parts, and actual cost of shipping to you.

There are several members with heavy post counts here at FSB that will vouch for my character, and all monies will be moved through Paypal (with fees - no gifting of funds).

Yesterday, after only a weekend of signups, we had the following numbers. It should easily get much larger:

520 3PDTs

1165 Pots

660 jacks

PM me if you have any questions. I can also be reached at

BYOCRBMoA@gmail.com

I am not affiliated with BYOC. That is just where I got started in DIY, and I have 3,800+ posts there.

I realize this is not for everyone, and FSB is a VERY international community. I didn't even cross post here.

I know Mammoth, and Blake has taken very good care of us in the past.
