Looking the Analoguru design C1 is 100nF, looking Dirk design C1 is 10nF.
Why different ?

Hi Mbas,

maybe it's just a typo? But anyway both values should work fine.

C1 and R3 form a first order highpass. The cornerfrequency with C1=100nF is about 2,8Hz. With C1=10nF it is still 28Hz, which is well below the frequency of your low e-string (80Hz).
