$200 for bad offboard wiring, floating perfboards, and sharpie lettering!

Why am I not selling pedals? :hmmm:

Considering the whole wiring mess, an hour is way enough I'm afraid.

awesome how much neater wiring looks when you only use one color for the wiring.

Juicy!

How did you figure that out? Or is it common knowledge (i.e. - from the builder)?

T1M does have a good rep on TGP most of the time, although he has done some "take the money in advance and deliver in 2 years" kind of deals that have gotten him into hot water lately. That said, I can wire better than that and I'm a hack! How did he get a good rep with that? Also, where are the diodes?

~Diodes look to be floating in a sea of hot glue gun spunk...

I mean fair play to the guy if he can make a living shitting those out but I would not be proud of my product if it look like that.
Would it kill him to use a $0.05 nylon standoff or something?
Im passionate about NOT having hot glue anywhere in a pedal, I think it looks disgraceful.

I wonder if there is a reason* that there are a couple 1/2-watt resistors on those boards? :hmmm:

* And by that I mean a functional reason, not just because they were cheap or handy.

It's just an expensive pile of badly build clone.
It's fairly straight forward, if you want to start it , press start. You can work out the rest of the controls for yourself !

No silicon heaven ? preposterous ! Where would all the calculators go ?

Id estimate absolutely NO functional reason, probably a misorder or cheap.
I have a bunch of ...I think 220k in 1/2 watt from when I was just starting, try to slip them onto vero builds when I can

I've dealt with Dan in the past, and he has always been prompt, friendly and professional. He was awesome with me in a deal with some non working pedals, so for that I give him points. I know he has been copping a hiding on TGP of late regarding delays in getting products to customers, but till then he was one of the preferred "Go to" guys over there.
I believe that he has always been upfront about what the Pearl was, and most people on TGP knew it was a Snapper and Blue Collar in a box. It's up to the individual to choose if they want Brian Mena's original pedals, or T1Myne's combo version. But the Snapper is a tweaked OD-1, so what do ya do? Personally I believe in supporting the original builder. However, the pictures do speak loud and clear. I would be getting some PCB's made up, some PCB mount pots, minimise the wiring and clean up what needs to be there, and put some time and $$$ into a pro looking decal.
