Wampler PlexiDrive offboard wiring

Ok, you got your soldering iron and nothing is going to hold you back, but you have no clue where to start or what to build. There were others before you with the same questions... read them first.

I'm planning on building Wampler PlexiDrive but can't figure out how one would wire this with the input/ouput and power supply. I'm planning on using the offboard wiring mentioned here. I found a picture of another member who build a PlexiDrive. In the picture I see 4 wires which need to be connected to other parts. Which parts would this be and what else has to be connected using wires? I'm planning on using both a battery and 9 volt adaptor. You're help is greatly appreciated!

I got a little further with help from this great site. In the picture previously mentioned the far left blue wire needs to be connected to pin 1 from the 3PDT. The blue wire from the volume pot needs to be connected to pin 3 from the 3DPT. Is this correct? The red wire goes to the DC supply and the black to the sleeve of the output jack right?
