I'm sorry I couldn't read your post. The CAPS and smileys were too distracting. Is there a plain text version of your post somewhere?

Looks a lot like the Android Effects Robot, or the Gretsch Playboy HiFrequency Modulator (not sure about the name). Both are tremolos with enough LFO range to get up into the audio frequencies for single sideband, ring-mod type effects. Although both of them had frequency range switches to make the division between tremolo and ring mod action more usable.

This effect is intriguing! Something to keep me happy while I wait for more results on the lovetone wobulator cloning....

The layout calls for lf353 as a dual op amp and mc3403 as the quad op amp, Do you suppose I can just use tl0x2 and tl0x4 instead?

over my time of stuffing around with pedal as long as the circuit doesn't require high gain most generic opamps will do the job as long as the pins line up iam sure the tl families of opamps will be fun. I always use sockets for my op amps so i can plug different one in and out sometimes it's good to see what sounds best. I've had combinations that no one would ever think of sound great. So yeah go for it.
