Hey, does anyone know a good place to order mini speakers, something around the size of 60mm(2.4inch). I'm looking to do a run of mini amps and can't seem to find a decent mini speaker, something like what smokey amps use

I've build a nice sounding solid state mini amp for son of my bud with speaker taken out of an old, broken iMac.
Highly recommended

Thanks, forgot about that site, the 1W and 3W round ones might be perfect, I have similar ones that I ripped out of an old toy keyboard, if I can find something with those dimensions/power ratings but better quality I would be a happy camper

How 'bout a small hole saw (for your drill)? You can usually find 'em at Big Lots, or Lowes, Home Depot, etc. (they usually come in a "kit", with a few different sizes)...and they're pretty cheap too

yeah I figured this was the way to go. But does this actually work well on aluminium? I've only ever used it for woodwork.
my drill machine will probably quit with one of those. It's pretty cheap and sucks. I can barely drill holes in a line with it.

I've also used a plastic box, on a few pedal projects...using my Dremel, to make the holes. Start out with a small drillbit, then carefully enlarge it with a cone-shaped stone bit (I marked the stone bit with a Sharpie, to avoid over-enlarging it

).
