In need of several 0.39uf film capacitors in a stripboard board friendly package. If you are able to spare some and live in the US, I'd be more than happy to pay whatever you think is fair for your time to get them together and ship them out. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm having trouble finding anywhere that has them in stock in the states. Take care and have a great week. :horsey:

Just check out www.taydaelectronics.com ...they've got tons of caps, etc. (plus, their parts are dirt cheap...and so's the shipping  ).

Considering caps come in varying tolerances, 20% being pretty common you can probably get by with anything from 0.31uf to 0.468uF

Have you got a capacitance meter? It's a really useful thing to have (and they're cheap if you build a simple kit one).

If I want an intermediate value like 390n (one I don't normally stock) I'd get a bag of 330n and another of 470n and sort through them to get the closest to 390n. Given that the accuracy of cheap capacitors can vary by up to 20%, you'll usually find the intermediate value that you want!

Exactly how many do you need?, I think I may have some in my parts box, 0.39uF is the same value as 390nF....... :thumbsup
