Has anyone built a Kleinulator? I am looking at building one for my SLOclone since the effects loop is crap and I do not want to do the effect loop mod. I have the layout for the kleinulator but it does not tell what the diodes are. Does anyone have a number for the Diodes in the kleinulator. Hope this in the correct forum. Thanks for the help.

dunno man... usually I'm sweet with layouts, but I can't even figure out what's going where on that thing....

Those diodes are for the voltage multiplier, I'd use some schottkeys as they have a small voltage drop.(0.3V as opposed to 0.7 volts for regular diodes)

1N5817 or BAT46

Otherwise 1N4148 should be fine too, you'll just have a little lower max voltage. ( 6 x 0.4 V =~ 2.4V less)

aside from the usual 914, 4148, and 4001s, i can only access the following diodes:

which one can you suggest i use for the voltage multiplier? thanks!

Thanks for the replys. Now that I have numbers I can start building this thing and get my rig completed.

I built one from the ceriatone layout... I use it with my dumble 124 clone... sounds great... eventually I'll get around to building a dumbleator because tubes are rad but the klator does the job and probably sounds just as good as the tube units.
