This is a lousy pedal in my experiance. The boost was very bland. I greatly prefer the zvex super hard on. Also the tone control was quite weak seemed like a flubbed big muff tone control. It just didn't seem right. Very expensive. As much as I don't dig zvex, the super hard on is the best boost I have played. I just build a landy boost so I don't have to feel like its vex

well, the minibooster,by nature will be fatter and grittier than the SHO. I find the MB to be superior to the SHO for certain situations, and the SHO superior for others.

2x 2n5457
R1 = 150k
C5 = 47pF
R5 = 100E + 5k pot "Input" (no cap) (crackle okay??

)
C2 = 47nF
C3 = 47nF
tonecontroll 47nF after C3 to GND (limited by a 100k pot "highs")
silten bias-divider for Q2 (see R.G.s article at geofex) 1M/10k/10k
Vcc = 16,8V
hope this helps...

Is the Katana the same as this? (voltage doubled mini-booster?)

I know it has been three years but I wish people were more consistent with where they keep their online pics. Half of the forum posts have just broken links to them.

i really don't get why it is so hard to upload the pic on to the forum itself its not rocket science instead dead links everywhere please up load to forum rather than links its stays here then.
