A semi-parametric EQ with gain controlled by the knob and frequency by the pedal? Kind of a cool idea, but $1795????

Yeah; the seller answers a question with "it's more like a wah pedal..." So I'm sure it's more than just a wah circuit; but a permutation of a common wah circuit might get you close to the same thing (maybe add a variable gain stage, label the Q control "depth")...

Yeah, I know... But still, you can find the Maestro Parametric Boost/Fuzz for way less than that (depending on how QOTSA is doing this month either $200 or $800). Drop it in a new smaller box with the pedal for frequency and gain changed to "depth" and you're golden!

Irrelevant. Cornish gear is always better than the original circuits it is cloning. It's in the build quality, man. The build quality!

You could play 132 U2 concerts in a row with Cornish, and it will operate flawlessly. And that's exactly why bedroom wankers need one. :horsey:
