Hey Sinner - I'm trying to get some thinner steel first, these are made from 2mm steel sheet at the moment so they weigh an absolute ton and are tough to work. I'm after some 1mm sheet then I'll try and rattle some enclosures out for anyone who wants some. I'll keep you updated :blackeye

Here it is, typical Sola Sound Tonebender enclosure type. These brackets also could be cool, I'm to lazy to bend them myself ;)

I'm not sure I'll be able to replicate that sort of cast design but I may be able to come up with something which looks similar. What are the brackets for? PCB and pot mounting?

I'm thinking about coming up with 3 or 4 different enclosure designs all with that vintage fuzz feel to them...

Yeah, the bracket holds PCB.

I wish someone could do tonebender and supafuzz enclosures one day. VPW sometimes was selling those, but AFAIR they're closing soon

Casting is a real bitch though - it requires much more tooling, time and patience than simple bending and welding..

I'll see what I can come up with, I'll make some cardboard templates first!

I know, and it's also quite expensive. At least here. I tried to find company who could clone it, and the price to start production was the same as new family car
