I'm the kinda guy that is constantly deciding to start pedal projects within a week of a gig; and then I expect myself to have it finished before the gig.

When I do this awful thing to myself the first problem becomes sourcing the switches. I typically need to have all the parts within two days. Assuming that I decide not to bother with 3PDT switches, I can get just about any of the needed parts including enclosures and the 316PP Carling DPDT at Mouser.com.

Mouser will reliably ship overnight so that the package will actually reach you by the next day. The only problem I have with Mouser is that they don't carry any 3PDT and the 316PP is priced WAYYYYYY TOOO HIGHHH!
I'm sorry $19.12 is just way off the mark.

MY QUESTION: Is there any mom-and-pop pedal parts supplier that will reliably ship the same day you order??

I've never used SmallBear or any of the others; so I really have no experience.

Thaishine is based in MA, ships quickly by USPS first class. I'll often get my stuff within 2 days (I'm in MA, too). 2 3pdt switches for a hair over $6
... multiple LFO waveforms (saw up, saw down, triangle, square); a more flexible envelope with attack/release controls as well as inverted envelope. I am afraid it will have more knobs than the TGP annual convention - frequencycentral

here you go....not really cheap but it's cheaper than the carling switch that you mentioned and available from the same supplier that ships ultra quick: http://www.mouser.com/search/refine.asp ... SF12020F-L

But, what everyone else is saying is also correct. At a point it becomes time to step up your game and just stock certain parts at home. I've got like a mini-mouser on my bench and at any point im ready to build a good chunk of whatever you can throw at me. Helpful when i decide "oh damn, i wanna play XX pedal tonight" or when a buddy asks for something 2 days before he leaves for tour (which regularly happens)
