Howdy y'all!
I'm a little confused, what is the right OTA?
All the schematics claimed a CA3080, but here you say it should it really be a CA3280?
Will the limiter function with a CA3080?
Can I just "chain" two CA3080s to approximate a CA3280?
Also, would a CA3280 be wired the same as shown in the aformentioned manual schematic?
Pardon my ignorance :)

If you want to build one a 3080A will work fine. The 2nd half of the chip is not used in the original unit (a waste).

If you are repairing one, you could create an adapter board for a CA3080 or LM3080A. LM13700 would be easier to source and make an adapter board for.
