Hi Adriano,

The manufacturer says that this critter employ a chinese 12AU7 and needs an external supply of 12 Vdc.

I think that this units smell like a tubecaster with a tone control added... :hmmm:

BTW the use of a pair of pieces of plexiglass instead to put the board inside a commercial box looks funny.

The only drawback is when someone spilled beer, coke, or whatever liquid present on stage or in the practice room inside the unit... :lol:

Looking closely the images posted by Renegadrian, I only discern a single sided board but completely filled the empty spaces with a ground plane. Perhaps this is sufficient guarding...

Nevertheless, if we put this unit close to transformers or main wires surely pick up serious 50 or 60 Hz noise, depending the country.

Also, if we place this unit near the output transformer of a tube amp, can pick the dispersed magnetic flux fron their core and cause a severe feedback even without any guitar plugged... :lol:
