Marshall Artist Demo Vid

In case anyone is interested, I put up a youtube demo vid of my Marshall Artist.
Part 1 is just me talking giving an overview:
Part 2 is the sound demo (in case you want to skip the yak yak):
Funny thing... A week after doing this vid, the power transformer blew (they are supposedly notorious for this). I have a new one coming in tomorrow, though.

I think it sounded pretty good . Why do those pt tend to blow up ? Any particular problem with them ?
Sorry for all the questions but her';s the main one.
Have you got a schem with the mods you did to it ? I would like to compare the difference with the factory schematic.

I'm not sure what the issue with the transformer is, on mine the primary shorted. I've read a lot of reports of problems with them though. Maybe they are not quite up to the capacity needed and get over stressed. The replacement I ordered is a Heyboer so I'm not too worried about it happening again.
I don't have the modifications in electronic form yet. When I post those I'll mention it here. Mainly it just involved tweaking the two tone stacks and is pretty simple.
Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the answer.
So mainly some changes in the tonestacks, I had got the impression that you mad some major changes to the amp.

Thanks for comments!;-)
It's a nice sounding amp. I got it from craigslist for $125, since it was kind of halfway diy-ed already. The heads go in the $400 range on ebay and etc. There are a lot of features for the price and it really does sound good, esp with some minor tweaking. Hoping to install the new xformer tonight.
