what i'm trying to do is share a common pedalboard (bbe sonic stomp, EH lpb1, and a Dan-echo) between two amps, via the efx loops (2 Peavey windsor 100 heads). The amps are switched by a A-B-Y box (ART). I tried Y jacking the efx send & returns, and was having several issues. My gain was lower, and it seemed overall volume was as well. Also, the amps seemed to be affecting each other too. With the master volume turned off ( on one )it still produced sound. I've had a few people mention isolation transformers as the solution (the ART dual in particular)...any thoughts? If so, would i need one for each send & return lines (4 total)? I really would like the efx to be in each efx loop, and in A, B, or Y configuration. Thanx in advance for any help you might throw my way! :slap:

You might get away with just buffering the 2 signals that return to the Amps. :hmmm:
