the vboard is small smaalll ....
I was thinking I can make the cuts on the fly - 3 attempts later I gave up and flipped the image, made the cut points huge red dots and finally made it through ...
soldering on tricky for a beginner - I got some leakage to the neighboring strips I tried vacuuming off the excess solder and running exactoknife between the strips- no idea if that helped as my multimeter is broken.

also I skipped 1 resistor from my order ... so yeah this is going to wait.
if it works it's gonna b a miracle :)

One thing I find that helps with soldering on Veroboard is to use a scouring pad on the copper strips so that they're shiny, next coat each track with solder before making the track cuts, then use some solderwick to remove the excess solder, finally mark all the track cuts using a waterproof pen, black or blue is a good colour, and then use a 3 or 4 mm drill bit to make the track cuts..... :thumbsup

that took some time....
but with some cheating finally the Power Boost is done.
the veroboard turnd out to be paint in the rear end ... so I bought a PCB (that's the cheating part) and managed to put together the 18v power boost.
now... I still haven't build a charge pump to get the 18v so Im running it on 9v. still does a good job.
