It looks like the board is being held in place by the Stomp switch!?
At least they are not making any outrageous claims  Colorsound overdrive clone with a volume pot added.

I had one at the house last week. Insides looked the same which is why I didn't bother taking pics. It doesn't sound bad but it wasn't good enough to keep either.

He uses solid core wire though, so while it doesn't look very good the wires aren't flopping around or anything.

here's mine.. even uglier.. but i love the circuit...
it's my fav OD booster pedal.. I want to make a clone
but can't find a proper schem.. the build quality is pretty
poor, but the sound of this thing is amazing!

Anyone have a vero, schem, or layout?

That's it. but i wonder if it's a slightly modified circuit or 100% clone.
anyone have any clue? I never had a coloursound OD so I'm not too
familiar with it's circuit, other than the prescription that is..
the PCB is pretty shabbily etched imo, and I find the pots values
are a bit too responsive... especially the volume control, a slight turn
will either make it completely silent or the loudest explosion of volume ever.

I really wish it had a 3pdt and an LED too.. that's another gripe..
the pots are way to easy to turn, they have little physical resistance,
sometimes when you stomp on it, especially in a dark venue or whatever,
you'll accidentally turn a knob or two, it sounds awesome though..

If anyone decides that it's different, please do a layout! I was going to build the colorsound soon as I've heard it's basically the PE RX, which is what I'm looking for.

Here's a perf of the Colorsound, if it helps:

i am breadboarding the CS overdriver, it sounds quite good

i find the gain pot very extreme, it doesnt get any gain until fully turned up, and there it raises to maximum gain, i dont think even a C-type would soften that.
My solution is removing R4 (12k), this way the gain pot is more usable, and goes from a slight overdrive to full gain and all in between. At full gain is a little less compressed, but in a good way to my ears

that's kind of what of love about it's charm and such..
like from 0 to 70.. really nice warm jolt to the tubes,
like a basic volume booster, then go from 70 to 100 and
it goes in to fuzzed squishy sounds

Here's a bit of my recently tested Prescription RX
it does differ from the vero above.. the biggest ones
being the 2 diodes not listed (i'm not familiar with them, and
i'm kinda hungover at the moment, so i will have to clarify this
again later when i'm more sober eyed.) but so far, from what i can see
and so far from my readings i've got something like this... help me out.
