You can also use 12AT7,and 12AU7 tubes in this pedal too, they give different overdrive characteristics, these tubes have the same pinout as the 12AX7,so they are drop-in compatible.... :)

I've just completed an order for a set of PCBs for Bajaman's Real Tube Overdrive,I'm looking forward to working on this, managed to score myself a PCB mount 9-pin valve socket from a defunct Trace Elliot Tramp Amplifier,so I will be using it for this build,I'll try and build it into a Soanar Diecast Aluminium enclosure,I'm also going to be sensible and use easily obtained off-the-shelf components, rather than any so-called "mojo" parts....

Anyone know of a online source for a 230V/16V power supply (preferably located in Europe)?

Just a reminder - my PCB sets are designed for a tight fit inside of a NSC 1590 enclosure
other enclosures may not work correctly.

suregork - Thomann sell the Seymour Duncan spare part power supply:
http://www.thomann.de/gb/seymour_duncan ... ly_16v.htm

I have 2 of these for sale, brand new and unused. €20 each or €35 for both including shipping to Europe if anyone's interested. I'm in the UK so they have the wrong plugs for me. :slap:

Thanks for the reminder mate, the case I'm planning on using as an enclosure for this, has outside dimensions of 119mm x94mm x34mm.... :)

Allowing for the thickness of the material ( 2mm diecast Aluminium),will I have any problems fitting the PCBs inside it,will I need to do any mods,and/or use a different case,Bajaman?... :)

I have started....I know that ceramic resistor is much too big, I will be removing for a smaller 1.5K 1/ 2watt resistor. It is a start!

tone zone - you can also lie the regulator flat too - the two holes are for the led connections on the solder side - I do not insert the wires through these holes :!:
