Hi Folks,

I know Beavisaudio is very good for presenting simple circuit snippets and breaking down the boost circuit, but Is there anywhere/one that has gone through the various pedal circuits and broken them down by section?

Cheers,

ff

A couple of articles that come to mind are Cook your own distortion at General Guitar Gadgets and Technology of the Tubescreamer at GEOFEX. You might check them out. :thumbsup

The books by Brian Wampler which have been offered for free download on this site are excellent.

Are you referring to 'How to Modify Effects' or are there others?

Thanks

Take a look at the thread "Indyguitarist/Wampler Pedals" under the "Davidoff Library" heading.

There are two books that can be downloaded. The first, the smaller of the two, is "Advanced DIY Effect Pedals: How to design, customise & build effect pedals".

It covers many of the basic circuits and shows how they can be combined into a range of pedals.

Sorry, it's "Indyguitarist/Wampler Books" [not 'Pedals' as I thought when I typed the previous message.]
