Hi, when looking at another thread, there was a comment that the Danelectro PB&J was a good candidate for mods.
There's nothing here that I can see- I can't even find the original comment. (I must be getting too old to use this technology ) Does anyone have any suggestions on where else to look?
These are the experimentalistsanonymous.com mods, they are really great. It was one of the first FX mods I ever did and I used that pedal for ages. It only died when I spilt beer on it! I'm about to create my own super delay pedal to rehouse in the wah shell I placed my PB&J into, Zvex probe style control + Sequencer?!?
The upper part (shown in red) is the human interface. The Philips 74HC237D pulses at 50Hz, checking the two foot switches, the 3 potentiometers, and lighting the red/green LED if the unit is on: red is the short delay modus, and green is long.
The light blue part is the analog part (literally!) The chip is a custom (I guess?) Analog Devices unit, marked "71031 74111 #842". It appears to be an ADC/DAC with serial interface.
The memory and its housekeeping are shown in yellow. Theres two TI 74HC373 and the big one is the ISSI 1024 x 8 RAM.
Then there's the Atmel ATmega48, and in the middle are some headers for testing and whatnot.
Does anyone know if it is possible to perform the "gambit mod" on the new ATmega48 version of this pedal?
I was prodding around at shorting some resistors but couldn't find this result yet:

I, too, would love to know if the gambit mod is possible on the newer PB&Js... So this is a BUMP, I guess!
