Hotbox relay switch help

I've been studying this PCB http://thejaffes.org/sites/all/files/hotswit.pdf
and have pretty much all the component values and placement but i get lost when i reach the second relay(the one towards the middle of the board with the pots).
The output seems to go nowhere when the realy is engaged to the clean gain pot.
Also there seems to be a couple of contacts for indicator LEDs and don't know about the resistors to ground next to the relays,is that part of the switching or to avoid pops ....?

Here's a schematic,I could not find the one i'm using and i only have it in hard copy, but this will do cause it shows the signal path for the switching.

Thanks for any help

.............unless that relay is wired as a total bypass in which case legs 3 and 6 (bottom legs)are jumpered, but i can't see the jumper.........
Then only have to work out what the resistors next to the relays are for......and their value.
I would say the foot sw goes there but .......
Maybe a little explanation on how that would work?
Thanks guys.

Ok so the relay IS a bypass, but how does the relay get activated?....the footswitch grounds the positive through the resistor?
What would be a good value for that resistor?

Thanks guys.

OK,finally worked it out using Hoffman's relay setup as a guide.....geez being away for so long I have to relearn everything all over!

Thanks for looking

I think I found a mistake on the tube board(I think)
The voltage divider(220k-470k)on V1b/V2a, both go directly to ground but the 470k should go to ground THROUGH the 220k.
