I have one I bought some months ago, it didn't work properly from the off. I was disappointed to say the least, it had very little effect on tone - now that I have replaced one pot, 100k depth pot - got the wires the right way round I managed to get a phase effect but only with both pots on 10. This as you can imagine is very frustrating - turn it to 9 and it's the slightly coloured clean boost effect it was when I bought it!
I decided to leave it for a day, I realised that I had mixed lugs up on one of the pots - an easy fix when I'm less tired. I went back to it today, hit the switch - no LED. I assumed the battery died - I had left the leads in both sides. I replaced the battery same thing!! I have had the pedal as a slight boost, a distorting type pedal (fuzzy?) and a phase pedal as mentioned, and have also had it dropping out whilst making the phase tones, in time with the phase too!! Is it the switch that is causing the issue? Does anyone have a schematic? I can't detect any dry joints, though that's not to say it isn't that! The reason I question the switch is the catalogue of odd behaviour . . .
This isn't my pedal, but it's this model - it's lovely (when it works!!) Lol
Please help!! It's doing my nut in! Where can I buy these switches btw?! I seem to remember that TS808's had a similar switch - a lot of these have been replaced with standard looking stomp switches - is there a method? Otherwise there's a big hole . . .
