Rothwell Switchblade  [traced]

I had this box on the bench. The Rothwell Switchblade actually sounded nice, although a bit too bassy on the eq for my tase.

The problem with this is that its kind of microphonic, a lot of gain and some supect smd electrolytics, and that its mounted soldered to the 3pdt, amplifying noises on the switch and tapping the box...

I couldnt get the values on the SMD caps, I dont have a capable meter...

Interesting design. Here are my guesses for the non-polar caps:
C1 - 100n
C2 - 100n
C4 - 47n
C6 - 100n
C8 - 47n
C9 - 1n
C10 - 1n
C13 - I guess that should be fine with 1n.

I drew a layout with those, but if anyone has an idea of the correct values... Let me know. Layout is currently unverified.

Layout works, but my guesses on the values aren't exactly spot on.. Anyone have better guesses?

Try

C1 - 100n
C2 - 220n
C4 - 1n
C6 - 470n or maybe even 1µ
C8 - 1n
C9 - 220n or 470n
C10 - 100p or 220p

Thanks mmolteratx. Some of those do look more reasonable. I'll be updating the layout soonish...

Values do make a bit more sense now...

Nope. Just oscillation with those values. Anyone has the unit and a capable meter? I'd be grateful for inaccurate readings too...
