I make a layout of that device acording to schematic posted by KMG if anyone can look at this and check the layout mostly transistors outputs for mistakes...
When everything will be done i will upload pdf files with ready to print layout.

I'm busy checking the schematic against the PCB I dont see R14 on the PCB. It looks like it has totally been jumpered. The rest of the PCB checks out fine with the PCB. (Ihave just assumed the pin outs for transistors are the correct as I did not check datasheets for pinouts).
It's fairly straight forward, if you want to start it , press start. You can work out the rest of the controls for yourself !

No silicon heaven ? preposterous ! Where would all the calculators go ?

Ice-9 you say all transistors outputs look ok with data , but i have one more question with that, some of that transistors are smd so i will mount them on the track side of pcb, you have think like this when you check?

or maby i will just make little pcb's with legs outputs to do that :)

If all is ok i share PCB layout. The most important thing is to check the smd elements outputs before wiring, if anyone find some mistakes shere your opinions with me i will redesign the pcb if there will be mistakes with transistors.

No I have not checked the pin outs match the data sheets, ~I just checked the PCB matched the Schematic. I will get the datasheets later and check they correspond, then I will post back. Is there any reason you have left out R14

Me too, I didn't notice you fixed this in the next layout :slap:

I have just checked the datasheet for the TIP31-32C and they are different from your layour, ie the middle pin is not base it is the collector so double check these.

also thebcp56 has a different pin out

maybe only vaguely but the circuit looks a little similar to the 2520 style opamps used in
A.P.I. type mic preamps , usually have a hefty output section to drive transformers
not sure if that'll help you in the design department

ok, check it now all smd transistor can be solder under the PCB from the track side (vertical to their orginal positions), tip31c and tip32c should now be ok same as bcp56-16. If something still is wrong write this in here i will improve it in layout.

Это печатная плата делалась под этот проект http://guitar-gear.ru/forum/topic/3081- ... %BC%D0%B8/
Там есть пример звука в начале темы.

J0K3RX You give us schematics and layout for two different things...

TC3 is different device then what you put in here as layout and images... It's not Tube Cake it's different PA 10W on signal without clipping

wow you guys very rock's :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup
i'm planing to build this tube cake with non SMD component,

but can i change j177 jfet's with bipolar transistor like bc 557 ?
and what is the replacement for the bcp 56 ? maybe bd139 can do it?

any recomendation? :?:

sorry for the silly question :) :)
