Hello Gentlemen,

I have created a PCB layout on Eagle, and used the bottom side for the Ground plane and the top side for the Vbias (+4.5V).

My question is the following : Is it usual and ok to do it this way ? or should I trace the Vbias connections ?

Thanks for your time.

My guess,,Not normally done. Maybe Post a pic of layout,, I'd love to know where the signal wires go?

Assuming it's a home build pedal gizmo then it pays to not make things complicated.
Very fine traces and tiny pads (usually default for PCB software) are a nightmare to hand drill and if you also have pads and tracks very close together then it can lead to a nightmare to fault find.
Single sided boards with little or no ground infills are going to be a lot easier to track down issues later.
