Doubt about dpdt switch

Hello!
i bought a F435A which is a dpdt switch.
i would like to do the millenium circuit because i want the LED to go on when i switch on.
i got this pdf which explains the wiring very well but i have two doubts about it

http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/pdf ... gi_mil.pdf

First: my switch doesn't have any indication in any part so i can't distinguish the lugs. i cant do the wiring without knowing is lug is what. is there any instruction guide ou video that explains how to recognise this lugs?

Second: in the pdf, i think it's an error, one of the lugs of the LED doesn't appear linked. where do you think should be linked?

Thanks

2) LED's leg should be connected with GND, btw, LED's cathode side (the shorter leg) is slightly flattened as you may see on the diagram

1) just follow the instructions - you can't go wrong

Use your multimeter and check the continuity in both positions:
you should have continuity between A-C and B-D - in one position
and C - E and D - F in the other position (see the picture below)

There's a nice video from Mark Hammer - The inner life and rehabilitation of stompswitches

Also, if this helps, here's the schematic I use:
