Look at the application circuit on page 3 of this pdf:
https://www.smallbearelec.com/Projects/BTDR-1H.pdf

hint: Notice the last opamp stage. That can be turned into a low pass filter very easily.

You are close, but still not there. :)
I appreciate the hint but I'm very noobish and I can't figure anything out from the Belton PDF. Perhaps someone more savvy than myself can figure it out.

It has been said numerous times before but: Brian, you really are a gent. Many lesser designers/builders would have been upset that their pedals were being de-constructed, yet you're offering gentle encouragement like a primary school teacher. :thumbsup

Thank you, I appreciate that :)

I breadboarded the circuit and it sounds great but I still can't figure what Brian from Wampler is talking about.

I'm sure it'll work as the schematic posted has it, it's just not the faux spring reverb circuit from us. You need a variable low pass filter on there that's inverting.

Try the datasheet mixer with the 50k pot in series with the 22n cap in the NFB. I think that's what Brian's saying. See the Deuce Coupe tone control for what I'm talking about.

EDIT: Wait, I forgot I drew this up months ago. Here's the schem.

EDIT2: Holy crap, it's been almost a year. My bad.

The decay on mine is a little shorter, and I'm guessing the brick in the Faux isn't a Short.
Anyone know? The label on the brick is removed...

you can find the specifications in this site Wampler, "2.8s max reverb time."
R4 in the picture seems to 33k .....?

R4 33K could makes sense, it is a high pass filter with 22n cap.
Working point down to 219hz instead 2.19Khz

Thanks, Blend !

Yes, thanks! Good eye. I looked over a pic I took of the PCb and it is a 33k.

And thanks for pointing out the 2.8 seconds on the Wampler site. Problem solved!

Looking at the schematic, what is the benefit of using a J201 on the output of the brick rather than the unused op amp? :hmmm:
Q: How many bluegrass musicians does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Three. One to change the bulb and two to complain that it's electric.

I tried the last schematic and I don't think is correct, the depht control does not work as it should, It increase the volume of 'the effect at max setting...it's normal? You have had success with that scheme ?

But with that schematic the depth raise the volume of the verb more the length of decay... The decay is the same in all depth settings... Your depth control is ok beedoola?

mmolterax schematic is equal to your schematic Beedoola...
And brian said that your schematic was not correct... "You are close, but still not there."
