Resistor selection for a bass booster

I'm looking at selecting resistors for making a bass booster, but i'm not sure what type of resistors to use. The resistors should be
fixed resistors which have low stray capacitance and inductance. Can some one help me?

At audio frequencies the very small inductive and capacitive components are going to make zero audible difference. At High frequencies (Radio Frequencies) they may need to be taken into account but for pedals the only thing that needs any consideration is the noise figures, and then only in certain positions in some designs.
For tube amps voltage and power rating need to be taken into account.
As a general rule you can't go wrong with metal film (but I tend to use whatever I pull out of my resistor box and have had no problems in 40+ years of building/repairing/modifying bass and guitar pedals and amps).
As always IMO, IME, YMMV.
